Dress sized for Junior Department

I wanted to give this dress more stars because the overall look and shape is so pretty, but I just couldn't due to the poor design and sizing. I'm 5'8 and weigh 137 lbs and I wear between a size 4 or 6 in pants and dresses. I read the reviews so I went up in size and ordered an 8. When I got the dress out of the box I was excited to try it on. My excitement quickly faded to disappointment. The dress was skin tight and I needed help getting zipped up and it was a struggle. I'm not even big on top either. I wear a 34 B. Be warned this dress is sized for Juniors, not women. A size 8 should have been huge on me, but it was like I was trying on a size 0. It just did not work. Also, the hem was sewn funny at the bottom of the zipper and it puckered out like I had a small tail in the back. I see others have had luck with this dress, but it just didn't work out for me.

Beautiful Dress!!!

This is a beautiful and elegant dress! You could wear it to a nice dinner or to a cocktail party and it would be perfect! I do agree about going up one size. I read the reviews before I ordered thankfully and I usually wear a 4 but I ordered a 6 and It fits perfectly! You will not regret buying this dress! It’s a great little go-to black dress!

Gorgeous Dress

I purchased this dress for a wedding and it’s as beautiful and flattering as pictured. I’m 5’10” and weigh 130lbs and size 6 fit perfect.

Top doesn't fit normal

I was so bummed this didn't work and wish I'm usually a 6 or 8 in dress so bought an 8 based on saying it ran small. The bottom zipped fine but the top is about 3 sizes smaller and no way it would fit. I'm a 36D. Had to return.

Perfect Fit!!

I was sceptical at first after reading the reviews and then i didnt know what size to order. Im 5ft 3 and 145lbs the last dress i bought was a size 10and the reviews said to order a size up so i ordered a size 12. And i am very happy with this dress it is very beautiful and feels so nice and comfortable on. Very pleased with this purchase and will be wearing to a wedding .

Great Dress for New Year!

The reviews are accurate: it is a flattering dress on an hourglass figure, order this 1-2 sizes larger than your "normal" pant size, and it is great for a party or date night. It's a flirty dress, with just enough coverage to be elegant, but with enough sequins and ruffles to be fun. I loved wearing this, and a woman complimented me and said she wished she had worn something just like this dress at a New Year's party.

I’m very disappointed, Not worth the money.

I should have listened to the other reviewers. The dress Is not worth the money. It runs very small and short. I waited for this dress now I have to return it and buy new one. I purchased a dress from Macy’s last year for Christmas and it was beautiful I’m very disappointed with this year dress.
